ESD Mats

 

ESD mats are designed to drain static charges from items placed on its surface. They also protect the surface of ESD sensitive devices from wear-and-tear. Made from durable materials, the ESD safe mats are designed to be long-lasting while maintaining their antistatic properties. For a mat to effectively ground an item, the item must be either conductive or static-dissipative, as insulative items will not allow charge to drain to the ground, such as most plastics.
